IT Support Engineer- 3 months, CheltenhamIT Support Engineer - Cheltenham - 3 Month Contract
Computer Futures are seeking an IT Support Engineer to work for a market leading client based in the Cheltenham area for a 3 month contract. You will be working in a very successful team of Engineers and report to an IT manager covering all areas of 1st/2nd/3rd line support and also spend time supporting the server remotely. You should have excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers and have experience in managing an ITIL service desk function to strict SLA's. There are approx. 200 users at various locations.
The ideal candidate will have a skill set to include as many of the following:
Essential Skills Required:
Windows Server
Citrix XenDesktop or general Citrix experience
VMWare ESXi and vSphere
HP SAN
Good Communication skills and customer service
Desirable Skills Required:
Active Directory
Networking with HP ProCurve hardware
HP Servers, Desktops & Notebooks
General understanding of VOIP
The position is paying from £150 to £200 per day for the three month period.
Other Comments:
The Successful candidate may be expected to provide and out of hours on-call service on a regular basis.
