Description
This position gathers user requirements, analyzes current system functionality, determines gaps in functionality, develops design specifications, and then builds BI data models, transformations and objects associated with data flows. Performs system testing, debugs and documents software applications; migrates transports to the quality and production systems. Loads data and consults with users and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met. Coordinates with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with other modules and applications; Follows change management policies.
SKILLS:
Seeking a hands-on developer who is an expert in data modelling, cube design, data flow design, transformations and query building. 7+ years experience designing and building SAP BI IP applications, prior work experience with using distribution functions, custom function types and FOX code. Proficient with ABAP code in regards to start routines, end routines, user exits and extractors. An expert at process chains and performing transports.
