Description
Require a very experienced and strong project manager to handle a SAP based financial reporting project. The person will handle a SAP based project that will involve SAP, ECC and SAP BI scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the internal lead to manage the project
- Develop and manage the project milestones, project plan and deliverables.
- Get agreement on the deliverables from business clients
- Carry timely reporting of the project progress and follow up with multiple stakeholders to meet deliverable milestones
- Setting and controlling project scope - follow the scope change management process
- Coordinate the activity related to various tasks in the project plan with various stakeholders
- Working with the client to identify business requirements and develop the proposal
- Developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities
- Communicating the project progress to right stakeholders
- Risk management
SKILLS:
The Skill Profile
The ideal candidate will have following experience profile:
1. Must have 8-10 years of experience as a lead Project Manager
2. Must have managed large complex projects (preferably in SAP area)
3. Working knowledge of current SAP Project Management methodologies
4. Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Excel
5. Demonstrated client management and relationship management skills
6. Must have fluency in written and verbal English
7. Must have managed multi cultural teams from Europe, Asia, US and South America
8. Should show ability to work independently and must be proactive and highly energetic
9. Must be able to travel 100% of the time as required
10. Interfacing with senior management and technical teams to drive the end to end project and related deliverables
11. Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress
12. Need to have strong verbal and communication skills as the job needs liaison with various groups
13. Project Management degree (PMI certification) highly desirable
14. 7+ years' experience with Project Implementations required
