The qualified candidate needs to be familiar with Embedded development in a DSP based Real Time system including setup and use of the tools in this environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Experience with data acquisition and Digital Signal Processing
  • Experience with software development using C in Real Time Embedded environment
  • Experience with DSP programming in a Real Time Embedded system.
  • Have familiarity with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering through design, implementation and testing.
  • Interact with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms
  • Design and build strong testing infrastructure to minimize dependency on hardware availability
  • Leverage DFR for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle.
  • Work with global cross functional teams to gather requirements and voice of customer for the design and develop new and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in technical design reviews to improve software quality and ensure that the correct design decisions have been made.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS/MS Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with the TI family of DSP devices (55xx series)
  • 7+ years of product development experience.
  • Project leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Clear-Case
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
  • Must be willing to work in our Tower Avenue facility full-time
  • Must submit application for employment through COS to be considered
