eCommerce Business AnalystThe mission of the e-Commerce Shared Services Center in Brussels is:
Deliver innovative and value-adding e-commerce solutions for the organisation and its customers, both external clients as well as internal marketers, sales and traders of Capital Markets

Duration : 6 months + possible extensions
Function Description:
The e-Commerce Business Analyst has the end-to-end e-Commerce product responsibility, i.e. from idea creation and business planning through implementation and finally delivery.
The key responsibilities include:
- Business Analysis - analysis business processes and document the product specifications that form the input for the development teams;
- Project Management - coordinating application development and implementation;
- Testing and validating of the product functionalities in your scope;
- Gathering continuous intelligence on the product's performance, customers, problems and opportunities and initiating product improvements to meet changing customer needs
- Stimulating and advocating the e-Commerce transformation throughout the entire organisation.

Required knowledge/ experience:
Education & Soft skills
Solid academic background in economics and/or engineering/sciences.
• Team player
• Autonomous, person will have to drive himself a lot of setup and implementation from scratch
• Easy communicator : working with teams in London, Hong Kong and Paris
• Willing to travel, flexible. No 9-5 mentality.
• Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude,
• Good Communication and Influencing skills;
• Good analytical and synthesis skills;
• Ability to liaise with business, IT development to produce solutions acceptable to all parties
• Performance oriented and continuing to deliver within stressful situations.
• Excellent learning capabilities and able to adapt continuously within a fast changing environment.
• Well organised and able to execute activities within the budget and timeline.
Experience:
• 2 to 6 years experience in business analysis
• Experience in consultancy, technology or the financial industry (preferably in financial markets, or investment management) or e- commerce business/technology development.
• You have an interest in Capital Markets.
Technical experience / knowledge:
Mandatory:
Financial markets, FX, Interest Rates, Term Deposits
• E-commerce platforms, online trading
• Business Analysis: ability to translate customer problems and issues into new e-Commerce products by generating creative ideas and innovative solutions.
Preferable:
• Project leading experience is a plus
Location: Brussels. Willing to travel occasionally to London / Paris.
