Senior pre-sales consultant - Business Intelligence/ Analytics- £50-80k + uncapped commsThe role will be ideally suited to presales, systems engineer, technical architect or sales engineer with a deep understanding of Big data or data warehousing and analysis, and will have demonstrable experience of selling and delivering Hadoop / MapR solutions. My client has big plans to grow this area of the business and you will be the starting point for this.
An opportunity has arisen to join a privately owned storage vendor, specialising in Big data solutions to the UK, European & Global markets. The company values include high customer service, with the delivery of high quality products.
While there is no specific requirement for a candidate to based in a particular region, preference is for a Northwest based person.
Duties and responsibilities include: -
Worked in a pre-sales or architect role
Have excellent customer facing skills
Be used to presenting / giving demo's to potential customers
Direct dealings with 'C' level customers reporting to the Business Development Director
Achieve KPI's and objectives to achieve bonus
Big Data, in particular Hadoop (desirable)
ICT industry work experience
If someone has sold into the medical, manufacturing or Higher Education sectors that would be desirable but not essential.
Benefits
Basic salary of up to £80K
Car Allowance of £5K per annum
