Description
SQL Developer - Banking - London - £350pdOur Client, an investment bank, are currently looking for a SQL Developer to work in their London Office, on a long-term contract basis.
The developer will work on the Group ALM liquidity reporting database.
The successful candidate's main skills will be:
* MS SQL Server platform
* Object orientation design principles
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office platform (e.g.; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint)
* Working knowledge of database design principles (normalization and/or data warehousing.
* Ability to write / troubleshoot T-SQL code, Stored Procedures and Functions using MS SQL Server and understanding of best practices.
* Exposure to ETL processes.
* Any object-oriented development language experience advantageous
* Previous banking experience advantageous.
