Introduction
The directory general for Interpretation, commonly known as DG SCIC, delivers a qualitative interpretation during meetings organised by the European Commission or other client institutions. DG SCIC also delivers a service in organising conferences for the various DG's in the European Commission.
DG SCIC allows for a multilingual communication during meetings of the European Union, meetings that are core to its decision making process.
To reinforce the capacities of decision making according to the annual objectives, DG Interpretation has decided to use a Business Intelligence tool.
Description of tasks
Data warehouse, BI reports and dashboards development in the HR area:
- Design of fact and aggregated tables in Oracle 12g.
- Implementation of ETL procedures with PL/SQL.
- Design of business models and datamarts with BO Designer.
- Very good knowledge of the construction of statistic databases (Oracle)
- Very good expertise in the use of Business Objects XI
- Good knowledge of English and French
