Description
A Mechanical Install Engineer is required by global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the System Install Department, with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers and install leading edge semiconductor systems, at the customer site, with quality exceeding the customers’ expectation.Job Description
Equipment builds up (Mechanical and System Install) of the system platform at the customer site:
Move-in, unpack, unlock and mechanically install system modules.
Route and connect cabling + water/gas/vacuum hoses.
Power-on the system and initialize software drivers.
Transfer a fully assembled system, ready to operate, to the system integration team.
Perform administrative and coordination duties incl. reporting and technical escalations.
Contribute to the improvement loop of the platform and processes.
Expected to work inside the clean room, working with mechanical and electrical equipment.
Requirements
Mechanical Install Engineer is required:
High level of technical understanding and commitment to self-learning.
Being open minded, team player and be able to use your own initiative.
Troubleshooting and solving system failures.
Acknowledges the need to work safe at all times.
Must speak/read/write English.
Experience
Education in Engineering (preferably Precision Mechanics / Mechanics / Mechatroinics);
Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Preferred knowledge of (or experience with) electrical wiring and optical fibers Ability to work in flexible shift patterns in head quarter and at the customer site. Expected to travel 60 - 75% of the time to customers worldwide.
Commitment to remain within the install department for at least 3 years.
