My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist with multiple different projects within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience from a variety of backgrounds. Primarily IT, but also within call centres, customer liaison and dealer support. Agile, Kanban and Prince2 type experience is essential.
Key skills:
- Ability to manage teams and projects
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban
- Experience of IT / Software projects
- Ability to schedule, set milestones, and deliver on time
- Develop plan and manage to it
- Communicate status, raise exceptions and propose mitigation
- Adapt plan to changing business priorities
- Own the project - definition and delivery
- Manages factual evidence, audit trail (how are we doing things)
Desirables:
- Call centre management
- Customer service & liaison
- Prince2
Candidate attributes:
- Knowledge and experience of structured methodologies (PRINCE2, DSDM, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile development methods (SCRUM, XP, etc.)
- Ability to work in less structured environments using pragmatic approaches to delivery
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of mixed resource types
- Proactive problem solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent project activities of differing duration and priority
