Description
The Storage Lead Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day activities, support, and project based work for an EMC SAN storage deployment within the environment including maintain, capacity planning, Installing, troubleshooting and configuring EMC Storage and EMC RecoveryPoint
Overall expertise:
- EMC Clarion SAN infrastructure and Fiber Switching
- EMC RecoveryPoint SAN replication infrastructure, Symantec Backup, VMware
- Current security policies and procedures are followed as it relates to Desktops and SAN infrastructure
- Knowledge of Desktop imaging, patching monitoring of SAN infrastructure
- Work across teams (Windows, Application, and Network) to meet growth needs
- Excellent oral and written communications skills required
- Experience in disaster recovery
- Create and maintain support runbooks, designs, and test plan.
- (Optional) EMC certification(s)
This positions require the candidates to be having enough experience & ability to assess/analyze the processes, bring in/suggest automation and recommend how this/what can be done from remote/offshore
Ideally should have a minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience
