Job Title: Programmer Tech II
30/HR time and a half for OT
Looking to hire immediately for role 6-12 Month contract upfront
Working as part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team to create CNC programs, design processes, perform CNC training, and support shop departmental goals including, Lean, Cost Out, and safety.
Proper candidates will have 3 or more years of experience in programming CNC controlled lathes and/or mills. Preferred experience with EdgeCAM, but would consider those with other CAM software experience as well (eg. MasterCAM, GibbsCAM, etc.).
Position will be responsible for writing programs for multiple milling and turning centers. We are looking for someone strong technically, with the experience to be the go to programmer for an entire department. The Edgecam experience is very important.
High school diploma required.
2 year college or trade school with emphasis on CNC programming and machining principles highly preferred.
