MSDS is a boutique branding & interactive agency in New York City. For 14 years, we've partnered with nonprofits, academic institutions and game-changing businesses to produce exceptional brand experiences that help change the world and shake-up stagnant industries.
We're looking for a freelance interactive designer to work on-site with our team, preferrably in NYC. Someone who knows how to take serious-minded content for nonprofits and universities and turn them into innovative brand experiences that sophistication and serious visual punch.
Our designers must have a great understanding of UX concepts, particularly with large, content-heavy websites, know their typography and layout fundamentals, be able to embrace content and be creative problem solvers who knows how to translate goals and strategy into effective design.

Skills & Requirements
- An exceptional portfolio
- Strong understanding of UX design principals
- Proven expertise with sophisticated, content-rich design
- Ability to cater design aesthetic to brand strategy
- Strong typographic and page grid fundamentals
- Understanding of responsive design
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility
- 4 years minimum interactive design experience
