Our high profile telecommunications client is looking for a Change Manager to join their Transformation Office.

The OB Transformation Office helps OB deliver its business strategy outcomes by leading, prioritising and managing all the necessary cross-functional resources, knowledge and skills to deliver value to our customers.

The role focuses on the following key areas:
Business Consultancy - providing a holistic assessment and elaboration of Business Critical items prior to initiative execution including negotiation of program priority, funding allocation and resource planning.
Organisational Change Management - designing and implementing the required cross functional People, Process & Technology changes to support OB's strategic objectives.
Team Management - ensuring that the team has the right resources allocated to programs in order to deliver the strategic outcomes including mentoring, training and building tools to improve the overall standardisation and delivery of programs across OB.

The role works collaboratively across the business to successfully deliver the required strategic outcomes for OB.

Key functions of the Change Manager, OB Transformation Office:

Challenge:
Drive the broader team to deliver aggressive targets on time, cost, specification and quality agreed with stakeholders. Facilitate this with effort & intellectual property.

Catalyse:
Focus on getting the portfolio and initiatives moving by driving establishment of core teams, specification of scope and high level plans and definition of resource requirements. The outcome is a portfolio that has its own momentum from within the business.

Consult:

(Process)
Provide guidance to the Business Sponsors/Owners or others in the team on the processes involved in the development of their initiatives.

Consult:

(Solution)
Provide expert guidance to the Business Sponsors/Owners or others in the teams on the requirements of the solution to be delivered as part of the initiatives. This would typically reflect the expertise of the Portfolio Manager but may involve additional research or engagement of external assistance.

Accountable:
To the business owners and sponsors for the successful delivery portfolio outputs

Change:
Ensure that any impacts to the business are managed through change by employing standardised change management approaches.

Team:
Build a strong organisational team focused on delivering change to the business, including mentoring and development to improve outcomes.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
Relevant degree and/or experience in Change or Program Management
5 + years experience in Telecommunications, IT and/or Management Consultancy experience. Experience in managing and mentoring a large team across a Matrix organisation to successfully deliver project outcomes.
Organisational Change Management experience.
Familiarity with a broad range of program delivery tools & methodologies
Financial & commercial analysis skills.
Technical awareness of Communications
