Description
FunctionFor one of the DG's at the European Comission we are looking for a Senior Analyst Programmer with more than 10 years of experience to perform the following taks:
•Analysis of the requirements
•Prototyping
•Writing/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications
•Execution of test programs
•Definition and integration of technological components
•Integration with other applications
•Production of technical documentation
•Assistance with training the administrators and users of the system.
•Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
•Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to the Commission requirements and methodology
The ideal candidate should have the experience
•Good knowledge of application development environments
•Good knowledge of relational database systems
•Good knowledge of PL/SQL and JEE
•Knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tiers Internet applications
•Knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML)
•Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
•Good English Knowledge and ease of communication.
•Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
