Job description

For one of our pharmaceutical partners in the Antwerp region, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager Infrastructure Services - Mergers and Acquisitions. The Project Manager will be accountable to manage EMEA IT Infrastructure projects related to Mergers and Acquisitions Divestitures and Closures.

  • Manage regional and local infrastructure projects with varying levels of complexity
  • Specify IT IS project requests, taking into account IT IS guidelines and procedures
  • Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, lead team to define solutions and document cost pictures
  • Assemble project teams, identify appropriate resources needed, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
  • Function as a team builder for projects managed
  • Track, schedule and manage risks, issues, budget and documentation to ensure IT IS commitment dates and project deliverables are met
  • Reports through the Enterprise tools and IT IS communication processes
  • Deliver projects within requested timeframe, quality and budget
Profile
  • Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
  • Additional PMI or Prince 2 certification is a plus
  • General experience and understanding of:
    • Windows 200X Server Platform incl. MSSQL, IIS/.Net, SharePoint
    • Windows Vista/7 platform, including MSOffice, Acrobat
    • VMWare, Citrix
    • LAN, WAN, WLAN, Structured Cabling, Voice systems and IP Protocol
    • Unix, Oracle as a plus
  • Project management experience in an international and multicultural environment (budgets, plan, schedule, risk/issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, etc.) (+5 years)
  • Experience with end user support integrations or environments (ITIL)
  • Experience with Infrastructure deployment as part of new buildings projects
  • Experience in Infrastructure Integration as part of acquisition projects is a plus
  • Computer infrastructure operations or deployment background
  • Technical writing skills to write/ interpret documentation according to internal regulations (FDA part 11, GxP, …)
  • Pro-active attitude, problem solver
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Build strong business interdependent partnerships
  • Ability to anticipate and deliver against customer needs & expectations, whilst balancing overall business requirements
  • Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
  • Travel can occur occasionally but will be limited within EMEA region for short trips of max. 5 days
  • Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
  • Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
  • Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
  • English spoken and written
