Responsibilities
  • Culturing/expansion of patient derived human primary bronchial epithelial cells and recombinant cell lines expressing target proteins relevant to Cystic Fibrosis projects, cryopreservation of cell lines, cell medium preparation and feeding of cell lines.
  • Establish consistent production of primary cells derived from patients and provide assay plates to support assay development and primary screening over the duration of the Cystic Fibrosis projects over the next 2 to 3 years.
  • Perform various other cell culture tasks on projects unrelated to CF to free up internal resources to further enable progress on cell support for the various assays for Cystic Fibrosis projects.
  • Work with a variety of human and non-human cell lines to develop scalable methods for the production of cell assay plates using a variety of cell automation equipment, bioreactor and analysis technologies.
SKILLS:

4-7 years of Cell/Tissue Culture experience is required.
