My client is one of the UK's leading process safety consultancies, working with companies in high hazard industries. Their team of scientists, engineers and industry professionals working with clients across the chemicals, oil & gas, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries in the UK and abroad.Your role will include the production of safety assessments such as:
*Hazard identification studies e.g. HAZID and HAZOP
*COMAH safety reports
*Consequence assessment
*Use of software tools such as PHAST and ADMS
*Frequency assessment including fault tree and event tree analysis
*Environmental assessment of potential MATTEss
*ATEX, DSEAR AND HAC
*Asset Integrity/ Ageing Plant
*Human Factors
*Functional Safety (IEC )
*Safety Management Systems/ Corporate Governance
*Delivering training courses
You will provide bespoke advice to clients to help them meet their business objectives. You will present your work through written reports, over the phone, face to face and through presentations. You may also be involved in managing client relationships, liaising with regulators, proposal preparation, project management and checking the technical work of other staff.
Travel away from home is part of the job. This varies from consultant to consultant and week to week, but will typically be around 2-10 nights away per month.
