Oracle 11G Production Support DBA (Exadata)A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leading staffing consultancy based in central London for an Oracle Production Support DBA.
They are looking to hire an experienced Oracle Production Support DBA, who has experience with Oracle RAC, Dataguard Oracle Database design, Oracle 10g and 11g.
This Oracle Production Support DBA will be supporting a large databases environment which is highly clustered RAC environment build using Exadata. This Production Support Oracle DBA will be fully trained up in Exadata and be working as part of a team of 6 supporting the entire Oracle landscape.
On a day to day basis this Oracle DBA will be responsible for:
Provding 3rd Line Production Support for all Oracle Database environments
- Work closely with project teams on the design, development and build of new production, staging, test and development databases.
- Responsible for end to end Database Administration for the entire Oracle RAC/Exadata platform covering all patching, maintenance, installations, performance tuning and some development using PL/SQL.
- Develop database standards, Processes and procedure to ensure all systems are production ready.
- Performance testing, production monitoring, resilience and disaster recovery.
- Provide Oracle DBA support for problem management process
Experience required: Oracle Database Design, Management and support experience in production environment. Oracle 10g,11g, Oracle Grid infrastructure, RMAN, Oracle Dataguard, Linux.
