Job Description
- Perform routine daily system checks
- Monitor servers and network, troubleshoot and resolve issues: Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008, VMware ESXI desktop support Windows 7 and XP.
- Deployment of configuration changes and application software, both 3rd party and internally developed.
- Maintain full ownership of support / helpdesk incidents to ensure they are dealt with promptly and professionally and that they are also concluded
- Good Knowledge of VMWare ESX 4.0 and ESXi 5.0
- Strong ADDNSDHCP knowledge – current outstanding tasks to decommission old AD domain and exchange environment.
- Experienced with Symantec Backup Exec and WSUS
- SQL Server 2000, 2005 administration, security implementation(desirable but not a necessity)
- LAN / WAN architecture understanding and support - TCP/IP (Cisco routers & switches) (desirable but not a necessity)
- Experience supporting MS.NET architected solutions and experience supporting ERP systems (JD Edwards) (desirable but not a necessity)
Salary:
€45k - €47k
