Conversions Consultant - Asset ManagementTop tier Asset management firm seeking a Conversions Analyst to join an extended team in London. You will be responsible for a variety of complex conversion activities including accounting and historical data conversions. The candidate will be strong in the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
The ideal candidate will be able to tackle problems that arise during the conversion process and have a natural flair for communicating effectively to all parties.
The successful candidate will have strong securities experience with technical knowledge on the asset management side and a background of Project Management.
Essential Competencies
Strong securities experience
Knowledge of accounting practices
Understanding of SQL
Advance Knowledge of Mutual Fund Accounting
Conversion experience preferred
Experience using Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and Access
Organised and Analytical
Entrepreneurial mind
Detail conscious
Literacy skills
Strong technical background
Project Management background
Understanding of the full product life cycle advantageous
Key Skills
It is essential that the candidate does have a range of investment types including:
Fixed Income
Equity
Forward Currency Contracts
SWAPS (IRS, CDS, CDX)
Understanding of Securities
Bachelors Degree ideally IT and Accounting modules or MBA desire but not essential
Permanent role based in London
Salary 50 - 60k
