This position will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain process and ensuring all existing and new vendors comply with business standards. They will also have responsibility for regular vendor reviews to lower costs and increase the value-add to the business.

Key Role Deliverables:

  • Lead all sourcing activities on behalf of the company, ensuring compliance with the company RFP process.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the vendor set-up process is completed and all of the steps contained in the company policy/procedures are rigorously adhered to.
  • Own and manage the process of defining/negotiating contract commercials and SLAs by engaging Finance and the vendor relationship manager and being a voice of challenge in the process to ensure rigour in obtaining the best deal for the company with appropriate levels of accountability and protection for the business.
  • Manage the vendor and outsourcing strategy to increase efficiency and reduce operating expenses. They will identify opportunities to close expertise and skills gaps, create additional capacity and undertake benchmarking against internal operations where appropriate.
  • Work with Legal, Finance and vendor managers to identify the need for and document contract variations in relation to cost or change of contract scope.
  • Represent the company in contract negotiations. Liaise with the Legal department in contract drafting, negotiation and execution.
  • Pro-actively maintain and ensure effective reporting to the senior management team of all supply chain management activities (including but not limited to: selection; onboarding; performance oversight; issue management and remedial actions; audit and control).
  • Provide management oversight and intelligence on the ongoing management of vendors to prescribed SLA's to ensure remedial action is being taken where appropriate. Identify and implement cost savings and performance improvements on a quarterly basis.
  • Operate within policies and procedures and ensure all appropriate administrative requirements are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure the vendor management processes applied are consistent.
  • Accountable for the creation and ongoing maintenance and completion of a vendor audit schedule, risk reviews and on-site visits with the engagement of compliance and vendor managers.
