Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Senior Product Engineer. You will contribute to the validation, qualification and characterisation of new products in the business creation process and be actively involved from project start up onwards, ensure quality mindset & execute activities after the product development phase.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Product Engineer is responsible for writing and execution of the Characterisation and Industrialisation Plan for a business creation project in which all PE-activities and requirements for S- to R-gate are reflected.
With the industrial product ability reports at V-gate and R-gate you will advise the stakeholders that the product is suitable for mass production;
You will act as liaison between the product line, the wafer fabs, the SLA-teams in the Far East and the test and assembly centres.
The Product Engineer, as product owner, is responsible for yield monitoring, hold lot management of product portfolio and initialisation of related improvement actions. In this role you will act as a liaison between the business line and the wafer, test and assembly factories with respect to activities related to the business fulfilment process. You will report - on a monthly basis - on yield performance and improvements of product portfolio;
Responsible for transferring the product ownership to the SLA-team in the Far East after ramp-up.
Maintain the industrial product ability of products and safeguard design for high and stable yields.
Specify DfA-requirements (Design for Analysis) and DfM-requirements (Design for Manufacturing) and evaluate the implementation
Contribute in the specification, design and implementation of the automated bench setup and evaluate product performance using Shmoo and other techniques.
Contribute to the characterisation process, executing and reporting on ESD, Latch-Up, temperature characterising. Next to that, you will evaluate rejects of life-test experiments.
You will be responsible for the alignment of the setting of datasheet limits, test limits and operational performance

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Master or Bachelor degree in electronics
Relevant experience (> 5 years) with PE activities
Knowledge of IC process technology (Mixed signal & digital). Able to support Failure Analysis in digital processes (Fault Allocation in digital designs)
Knowledge and experience in digital (test-) architectures
Experience with automated bench setup (LabView), including digital bench equipment
Experience in data analysis tools (Datapower is pre)
Extended knowledge and experience in statistical tools and methods.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt certified)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
Experience in working in global, cross functional teams
Team worker with good communication skills in English
Able to plan your own activities in the scope of a larger project and deliver on commitment
Entrepreneurial attitude and an enthusiastic team player.
Occasional travelling should be no problem
