If you're a Geoscientist or a Reservoir Engineer with over 20 years of experience looking for a career fast track, this Senior Petrophysical Advisor role is an opportunity for you to go into management as you'll report directly into the Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitors efforts of less-experienced petrophysicists and directs workflows. Guides interpretation improvements where warranted.
  • Directs and oversees the technical aspects of key well studies
  • Leads petrophysical analyses across a variety of play types and areas, with focus on regional scale projects
  • Oversees reporting activities by junior members of the team


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of petrophysical software(Geolog preferred); knowledge of Spotfire or statistical software used for data analytics
  • Effective use of critical thinking, logic and reasoning to identity strengths and weaknesses in workflows and effectively ensure overall conception, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of each project
  • Proven and demonstrates superior skills in multi-tasking, team-working and communication
  • Expert in lithofacies/electrofacies estimation and rock typing techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with upper management, co-workers, clients and other external contacts


You'll overlook our domestic onshore assets therefore we expect you to have been working on similar assets previously for an Oil and Gas E&P.
