C#/C++/.Net Engineers required in Hertfordshire!Proteus Europe, operating as an employment agency, is seeking bright highly motivated Software Engineers to work on a permanent basis for one of our prestigious clients in Royston, Hertfordshire.
As a Software Engineer you will develop software for our clients growing range of laboratory instrumentation. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering high quality software in the core areas of real time data acquisition and analysis.
Requirements:
- A 1st or 2.1 degree in computer science, electronics or a related field (essential)
- Strong C#/C++/.NET skills with a minimum of 3 years software development experience in a commercial environment
- Experience in the development of software for scientific/analytical instrumentation
- Good mathematical knowledge with an emphasis on algorithm development and numerical methods
- Intrinsically high levels of motivation and excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and an open collaborative approach towards your fellow team
- A good mixture of design, implementation, and test capabilities
In addition to the above, UI development experience would be a distinct advantage
