Real Staffing are representing an NHS Commissioning Support Unit in the South of England which requires an interim Chief Finance Officer to support the organisation during a significant period of restructure.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven executive who is looking to build on a strong accountancy background within the National Health Services.
Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that candidates have previously operated at board-level within a large NHS organisation in a finance capacity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to and advising the Managing Director
- Creating and implementing the organisation's forward business plan
- Advising on the trust's financial strategy and objectives
- Leading on the organisation's governance and risk management
- Reporting on the CSU's financial performance
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Finance lead for turnaround projects and complex business cases
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified Accountant (QBE not accepted)
- Extensive NHS experience at director level
- Proven ability to operate within a financially challenged organisation
Rate is negotiable and will be determined based on the quality and experience of the successful applicant.
