Description
An exciting opportunity is currently available in Spain for an English-speaking Senior J2EE Consultant. This position is located in the Public Sector.
The Consultant might be sporadically required to travel to Brussels.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Specific Requirements:
- Master degree in Computer Science;
- In depth knowledge of information systems infrastructure matters;
- Excellent knowledge of Java or .NET technology and development methodologies;
- Excellent knowledge of service oriented architecture and design of Internet applications;
- Proven experience with quality procedures;
- Proven experience in information systems security;
- Strong experience in ICT consulting.
Experience:
- 7 years of experience with J2EE, at least 3 years as a developer
- 3 years of experience with Weblogic Server
- 2 years of experience with Oracle Service Bus
- 3 years of experience with Oracle RBMS (admin and SQL development)
- 3 years of experience with Unix Shell Scripting
- 3 years or more of experience in risk analysis and high level consultancy
Tasks:
- Provide expertise in the area of Weblogic solutions;
- Provide level 2/3 support both technical and functional;
- Plan and execute deployments of J2EE modules;
- Provide expertise in the area of database technologies;
- Investigate system outages and coordinate the restoration of normal operations;
- Ensure maintenance and development of the monitoring tools and Unix Shell Scripts
Language skills:
- Excellent English (written/oral).
- French would be an advantage
This position is offered as a freelance contract on a long-term basis.
