A well known telecommunications company are seeking an experienced Commercial Specialist to work in the CMO team (Chief Marketing Office) in a 6 month contract.
The suitable candidate will be able to identify and escalate risks to plan and identify innovative opportunitunities whilst recommending solutions. You must be an analtical thinker and strong problem solver
The key accountabilities of the role are:
Commercial Analysis
- Develop and maintain accurate tracking and forecasting of spend to the agreed annual budget - to occur at the project, initiative, marketing division and overall marketing level
- Execute accurate tracking and forecasting of Promotions & Advertising and Marketing operating expense to the agreed plan and budget
- Support month-end reconciliation and reporting process including accrual requirements
- Provide commercial analysis as required to meet business requirements
- Engage in ongoing reviews of business and financial processes and systems to continue driving efficiencies
- Work collaboratively with the line of business Operations areas to enable effective business management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business operating rhythm as required to support line of business operations
- Ad hoc projects
- Execute processing of purchase orders and invoices and ensure invoice payment through timely goods receipting
- Lead closure of open purchase orders through close engagement with program leads and issuing reports regularly
- Address any queries raised in a timely manner including education of stakeholders on processes
Key Working Relationships
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and where applicable, manage key external stakeholders relevant to achieving business objectives.
Qualifcations & Learning:
- Qualifications in Commerce or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years practical experience in an operational and financial environment
- Conversancy with telecommunications technology and Marketing
- Strong excel skills
