Our client, based in Crewe, Cheshire is looking to recruit a Service Desk Administrator. The role requires knowledge of working in a large Service desk environment.Main responsibilities include:
- Manage the processing of incoming calls to the Service Desk via portal, telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues
- Ensure that appropriate response levels are maintained
- Enforce SLA's and IT Policies in consultation with end users to establish problem resolution expectations and timeframes
- Co-ordinate and/or perform hands-on fixes at 1st level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, configuring systems and applications, password resets, etc
- Liaise with end users to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
- Contribute towards the development and dissemination of help sheets, usage guides and FAQ lists for end users
- Involvement in IT procurement
- Assist with hardware and software inventory tasks and recording
- Assist with administration tasks as required
