Description
Position Requirements:Education: College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering. A minor in statistics and modeling is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years direct work experience. An understanding of SQL data warehouse analysis and design experience, with a knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling. An Understanding of ERP, master data, SAP preferred. Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Business Objects and BI dashboarding tools.
* Has 3-5 years or more experience designing, deploying, testing and maintaining Business Intelligence reports and environments
* Has experience writing reports from multiple sources
* Strong development skills in visualization tools such as Qlikview, Tableau or Spotfire preferred
* Strong Business Objects/Infoview, SSAS, Powerpivot or Sharepoint insights development, administration, and infrastructure knowledge
* Ability to work with Data architects, Programmers and Business Users in a fast-tracked team environment
* Experience with SAP/Infoview OR Business Objects highly desired
* Experience with SQL server preferred
* Familiarity with the MS Sharepoint environment preferred
* Experience or knowledge of c#.net a plus
Knowledge: In-depth programming knowledge of in-memory BI tools, such as Qlikview, Tibco, and/or Tableau. Good knowledge of external data sources, such as Nielsen and IRI. Expertise in Business Objects tools, such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator, and Business Objects Universe design. An understanding and exposure to ETL tools. Knowledge of Statistical Modeling and Predictive analytics is a plus.
