I have an exciting role for an experienced process safety engineer with a proven major hazards / oil & gas project track record across the project lifecycle.The successful individual will be a key member within a highly successful team of safety and risk management consultants. You will not only enjoy solving technical problems, but will also be skilled in developing customer relationships, preparing high quality proposals and winning new commissions.
Responsibilities may include:
- Working with clients to support and solve risk and safety challenges.
- Working with on risk and safety issues.
- Networking with other group companies in technical forum and business development.
- Managing key client relationships in industry sectors, petrochemical sector
Essential Experience will include:
- A technical expertise in major hazards safety and risk management, incorporating key skills in several of the following areas: Quantitative and qualitative risk management/assessment, safety management, reliability assessment, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) & SIL assessment, facilitation (eg HAZID/HAZOP/HAZAN/Bow-tie), safety case/COMAH reporting, detailed consequence analysis, DSEAR, specific studies (eg EERA/ESSA/PFEER), technical safety engineering and auditing.
- A proven track record with operators, engineering and regulatory clients - ideally covering both onshore and offshore.
- A relevant engineering, science and/or technology related degree (or equivalent).
- Professional membership of appropriate professional institution, e.g. I ChemE.
