Role: £55,000
Senior software/hardware engineer required for a major company from the Slough area who .The role will lead to both team and project management, and give a real exposure in a multi million turnaround company.
The company are unique in what they do, designing devices for object recognition in a fantastic and diverse industry. The role has already attracted a lot of candidates, but so far the company has struggled to find the right calibre of person who can not only lead a team, but also remain hands on with full lifecycle development.
Having met with the company and seen the site, it is a company that would provide a great working environment, working with enthusiastic and vibrant people.
By there own admission, this role is very much a software engineering role (80%), but definitely requires someone who has experience with digital electronics (20%) specifically, and has experience with full product lifecycle development.
The essential skills they need in a candidate include;
- PC application software - C# and C++
- Embedded C
- Digital Hardware Design
- Atmel/ARM Micro-processors
- Full-Lifecycle Development
Desirable Skills:
- EMC and Safety Standards
- Revision and Version Control Systems
- FPGA Design
- DSP
- Laboratory Instrument Development
Unfortunately this role is only for people who hold a valid UK/EU passport, and the company cannot provide sponsorship.
The benefits on offer include 0-30% bonus scheme dependant on team and individual performance, as well as a 11% contribution pension scheme once the employee puts in 4%. The company also offer private healthcare for the employee and employee's immediate family members.
