Our client, a large banking and financial services firm, have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Fund Administrator to assist the Assistant Manager in the delivery of Investment Administration services to assigned clients, in particular trade processing, trade matching and settlement, security reconciliations and standing data maintenance. Initially a 6 month rolling contract paying £140 per day, this role offers as fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their career within a well respected bank and the prospect of a permanent position in the future.

Key skills and responsibilities include:
  • Excellent knowledge of Settlement Practices with Investment Operations - ideally - Crest, DTC, Euroclear, Clearstream, European Settlement practices, Far East Settlement practices.
  • Familiar and conversant with Custodians and Brokers
  • Knowledge and experience of Failed Trades, Trade Matching and trade Settlements
  • Processing security trade transactions in line with the underlying funds valuation points.
  • Matching of Security Trades, based on details received from Managers and Brokers.
  • Issuing settlement instructions for trades and other transaction types to Custodians within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain details of Broker/Counterparty Standing settlement Data, and data on Alert, or other standing data on Datamapper
  • Participate in user acceptance of new / upgraded software as required
