Description
Senior Subsea Engineer - Circa £50,000Progressive Global Energy are currently working with a leading oil and gas service company in the recruitment of a Subsea Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis within their Aberdeen office in Dyce situated north of the city.
You will be reporting to the subsea engineering manager and will be responsible for carrying out supervisory engineering roles on both products and general engineering issues as required. This position will allow you to be very client facing as you will liase very closely with the client on all technical matters.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Engineering duties on subsea products such as specification, design release for purchasing, build and test supervision, documentation and reports.
- Ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet client requirements
- Approval of drawings and BOM
- Liaise with supply teams (this will include technical support to manufacturing )
Required Skill Set & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Subsea equipment and designs
- Degree qualified or above in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and offshore engineering
