Our client, a business with strong growth, are looking for someone who wants to work as an IT consultant and have the right attitude, business understanding, flexibility and technical expertise.
We are currently looking to hire a Senior Symfony Developer to direct the development and support the new and existing Symfony and Drupal/PHP based systems and applications.
Essential:
- Graduate in IT or computing related degree
- Minimum 5 year (enterprise) web application development/support
- Minimum 3 years Senior developer
- Test-Driven Development
Industry Experience:
- PHP 6+ years
- Symfony development 3+ years
- Drupal development 1+ years
- MySQL 4+ years
- Strong SQL Skills
- Experience developing/supporting Enterprise applications
- XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Responsibilities will include:
- To support development team on new and existing systems as required on a project by project basis
- Creation of documentation detailing technical work required for requested development, maintenance and support tasks to company standards
- Assist PM with project planning and critical path analysis
- Systems development and design
- Supervise system testing against deliverables and ensure development needs are met
- Provide mentoring services and technical leadership to members of development team
- Carry out analysis necessary for development, maintenance and support tasks on new and existing systems
