Role Summary/Purpose
The Quality Documentation Assistant is a key member of the Services Quality Assurance team at Client Oil & Gas providing essential support in overhaul and repair in Quality and Manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for the compilation of manufacturing record books, assurance of traceability and documentation compliance for all aftermarket customer requirements
Essential Functions (Responsibilities)
Create product & project data books per requirements of the contract and quality plan
Electronically file various record documents such as material MTR's, work orders, NDE reports, coating specifications, plating certifications, hardness reports, weld maps, etc.
Answer questions, make corrections or inclusions to the data books based as required
Provide completion dates, including third party review to the appropriate personnel
Working via the sales order and product trace information from production, provide the specific data certificates for components as required
Read and understand quality plans to determine specific data book requirements
Assist in problem solving for assurance to regulatory requirements
Requirements:
High School Diploma
User knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel & Word)
Desired:
2 years experience quality control, manufacturing documentation clerk or engineering related position
Problem solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment
