Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Unified Communications Support Engineer to assist BAU support in the areas of telephony, VOIP (Voice-over-IP), chat and video conference infrastructure.
Skills and experience include:
- Strong Unified Communications support experience within a large enterprise environment (24x7 operation)
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of a highly complex and effective Avaya-Nortel CS1K UC Systems
- Installation and maintenance of Voice Mail to Mailbox, Multi-party Conference Bridge, Web Messaging, etc
- Implement, monitor and audit Unified Communications security
- Monitor and support complex UC and telephony issues and ensuring high availability, optimal performance, robustness and security
- troubleshooting of systemic problems and provide resolutions
- Update and maintain documentation.
- Ability to work to set service levels
- Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to build relationships
- This role may require some on call duties
