Our client is seeking an experienced Unified Communications Support Engineer to assist BAU support in the areas of telephony, VOIP (Voice-over-IP), chat and video conference infrastructure.

Skills and experience include:

  • Strong Unified Communications support experience within a large enterprise environment (24x7 operation)
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of a highly complex and effective Avaya-Nortel CS1K UC Systems
  • Installation and maintenance of Voice Mail to Mailbox, Multi-party Conference Bridge, Web Messaging, etc
  • Implement, monitor and audit Unified Communications security
  • Monitor and support complex UC and telephony issues and ensuring high availability, optimal performance, robustness and security
  • troubleshooting of systemic problems and provide resolutions
  • Update and maintain documentation.
  • Ability to work to set service levels
  • Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to build relationships
  • This role may require some on call duties
