Network and Security Technical Architect
My client is a leading systems integrator, who is searching for a Network and Security Architect to work on the client group network infrastructure. The role is a 12 month rolling contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.
Core technologies:
- Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Wifi/WAN/QOS/Datacenter.
- Security: Firewalls, Proxies, VPN and Load balancers.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the strategic definition of the group infrastructure.
- Assess and develop requirements for infrastructure.
- Develop possible network and security solutions, both the technical and financial elements.
- Be involved with invitations to tender, drawing up technical conditions in the contract specifications.
- Design and maintenance of infrastructure standards.
Competencies:
- Candidates must have strong experience working with Cisco Network and Security.
- High Level design experience on customer projects.
- Candidates must be fluent French and English speaking.
- Experience writing and evaluating tenders.
- Hands on experience with network equipment.
