Network Improvement Engineer - DDI Specialist

IMMEDIATE start, 3 month + extensions

Our client is a leading Australian institution looking for a dedicated and experienced Network Improvement Engineer with more specific experience DDI, Infoblox and Splunk technologies.

The purpose of this role is to work within Projects and Networks teams to ensure our client receives excellent technical solutions to improve all aspects of their network from a DDI, Splunk and infoblox perspective

In this role you will join the project team to complete the DNS, Grid Master and Splunk operational implementation

Splunk requirements:

Update as build documents

Write Splunk v6 how to documents

Review/Update Splunk diagrams

DDI Project (Infoblox):

DNS Migration-

1. Review and complete design documentation

2. Review and complete migration documentation

3. Implementation/migration of DNS services

4. Complete operational handover documentation (Change Board Review)

Grid Master Migration-

1. Review migration plan for Infoblox grid master migration

2. Implement migration plan

3. Review Legacy grid decommission document

4. Complete decommission

5. Upgrade Grid software (v6)

Your role will involve:

Documenting the solution requirements and translate those into technical solutions

Engaging with business stakeholders as required.

Producing detailed work instructions and Implementation Specifications, along with operational support documentation

Liaising between Technical SMEs and business to provide options/solutions

Defining work breakdown structures/work packages for DDI and Splunk related projects and activities

Providing guidance and advice in the migration activities to the new Infoblox appliances.

This role is available for an IMMEDIATE start, 3 month + extensions for the right Candidate.
