Currently seeking an SC cleared Service Support to be based on site in Reading for a minimum contract duration of 6 months to be confirmed by the client.

Due to the nature of thew role and the time scale and requirements issued by the client, candidates have been asked to hold current SC level security clearance for this role.

Description of Project:

Product introduction are responsible for engaging with the Atlas solutions arcxhitects at an early stage, to ensure that service lines understand the requirements for live operation and support of their project. They will also ensure that support teams are aware and understand the impact of capabilities being introduced.

The prime roles and responsibilities of the ATLAS Product Introduction specialist are:

  • Identify, consult and where required document areas of Service Operations technical readiness to support the delivery of new Services and Capabilities being introduced into the Live environment. Business areas to be investigated and confirmed fit to continue include, but not limited to
  • Operational procedures
  • Schedule maintenance and administration
  • Backup plans
  • Training requirements for Service Operations
  • Reporting requirements for Service Operations
  • Work Instructions & knowledgebase articles
  • Derived Service Management requirements
  • Identify Risks and Issues to the programme
  • To establish a close working relationship with all areas of the project including Architecture & Engineering and EIS support units.
  • To be involved in all technical areas that could potentially impact the way in which Service Operations could operate.
  • To undertake Technical Readiness Reviews for all new products.
  • To undertake reviews of all migrated applications solution documents to ensure compliance with Service Operations remote operating model.
  • To become the technical authority for the DII/F solution by demonstrating and adhering to configuration control processes.
  • To be fully conversant in the technical solutions that is supported by Atlas Service Operations
  • Ensure that with all new products that are introduced with security constraints imposed on the project are considered before agreement.
  • To be recognised as the technical reviewer for all design documents that are submitted for review on behalf of both Service Transition and Service Operations

Job Accountibility and Purpose:

The Product Intorduction SME's report directly to the PI Team Leader who is accountable to the head of Transition Planning & Support within the ATLAS Programme.

They will also ensure that support teams are aware and understand the impact of Capabilities being introduced.
