For our client in the aviation industry we are currently looking for a Sharepoint Expert

Startdate: 1-4-13
Duration: 6 months (+ extension)
Language: English (French is a plus)
Location: Brussels

At our client the increase usage of Microsoft Sharepoint requires a reinforced Sharepoint functional support team. The goal is to offer a better support service to the users of the platform. You will ensure functional support including coaching and dealing with advanced requests as well as development activities and implementation. You will also be involved in contributions to the roadmap of the Sharepoint platform.

Tasks:
1. Ensure 1st line functional support, including advanced issues. This covers ensuring helpdesk, setting up team sites, acting as point of contact for capturing users requirements/suggestions/complaints and for the corresponding follow-up;
2. Provide coaching to end-users (best practices)
3. Monitor the respect of user policies/best practices and propose corrective measures
4. Contribute to increasing the awareness of staff on new collaboration and unified communications means and practices and support the change (info sessions, demos, webinars, marketing materials)
5. Participate to the implementation of request for changes (CRQ or projects) of our SharePoint environment in accordance with our change management standards. This includes analysing requirements or issues with business users, proposing solutions (eg. 3rd party components or custom developments) as well as implementing them.
6. Contribute to Information management activities (inc. taxonomy, managed metadata, content types, search)
7. Organise User Group meetings, including meeting logistics, prepare meeting agenda and supporting materials as well as follow-up of actions.
8. Contribute to the elaboration of our SharePoint platform roadmap, governance and user policies
9. Maintain and contribute to the further development of the user support materials repository (how to guides, presentations, videos, E-learning)

Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in EN and ideally FR.
- Strong SharePoint 2010 functional expertise (OOTB functionalities, configuration possibilities)
- Strong SharePoint 2010 technical expertise (SP developments and extensions)
- NINTEX expertise (ASSET)
- Sound knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 (ASSET)
- Customer service orientated, Result driven, integrity and team player approach.
