IT Security Engineer,
A leading telecoms carrier based in Brussels, Belgium are searching for an experienced IT Security Engineer with 5 years experience in the security domain (IT or Network domains are also desired).
The IT Security Engineer will maintain company security governance, policies and guidelines and also provide guidance for security activities in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development. The IT Security Engineer will work with all areas of the company to identify security requirements, using methods that include risk and business impact assessments.
We are looking for an experienced IT Security Engineer with 5 years experience in the security domain, ideally the IT Security Engineer will have a Security+ or CISSP certification however this is not essential. You will need to have a good understanding of operational methods and procedures. The IT Security Engineer will have proven experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards are essential. As the IT Security Engineer you will have knowledge of operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security applications, ant-malware solutions and desktop security tools. The IT Security Engineer will also need to have knowledge of network infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls and the associated network protocols and concepts. Any experience with identity and access management (IAM) principals, processes and tools.
Essential Skills/experience:
- Minimum 5 years
- Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Good understanding of operational methods and procedures
- Proven Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards are a must.
- Technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, anti-malware solutions and desktop security tools.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and the associated network protocols and concepts.
- Knowledge of and experience with identity and access management (IAM) principles, processes and tools.
