Next Ventures is urgently looking for an OSI PI Specialist for a 6-month+ contract role in Canada. Start date is as soon as possible.Your responsibilities will be:
- Management of activities such as Troubleshooting and bug fixes for PI Historian, MSSQL and .NET based applications and connectivity to other IT systems
- Develop project execution plan and prepare to execute accordingly
- Requirement gathering from plant systems users'
- Assist and review in estimating efforts for PI systems
- Detailed designing of PI product solutions and workflow scheduling, development and Implementation of solution.
- Arrange knowledge transitions from project teams to accept transfer of new applications and merging them into Operations support portfolio.
- Manage regular meetings/workshops, Client interaction for requirement gathering and vendor co-ordination.
You should have a minimum of 3 years relevant project experience. Additional skills are required in .NET programming; Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server + PL/SQL, SAP xMII and Lighthammer, LIMS, SAP xMII. Fluency in English is essential.
