System Administrator, VMWare and Backup , Valencia
We require a Systems Administrator with good experience of VMWare and Backup products for our client in Valencia to work in an English-language environment for a 6 months assignment, renewable, starting in April.
ROLE:
The support, management and maintenance of client virtualisation environment based on VMWare, and backup system based on EMC and Symantec.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE
The candidate should have the following skills:
- Advanced knowledge of VMWare
- Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Backup products, especially EMC Avamar or alternatively, EMC Networker or Symantec Backup
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
- Knowledge of Scripting in Powershell, Perl, bash, etc. .
The candidate should have the following experience :
- 2 years of experience in the requested environment
- Experience in large accounts
- Desirable certifications: EMCIE EMC, Symantec and VMWare VCP SCP
- High level of English
A laptop is required
Candidates should be eligible to work in Spain, as we cannot process work permits.
