Description
SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN with experience of Documentum or similar content management systems is required by an international IT organisation at their office in Valencia, Spain.The role will remote-support the activities of the client's New York office and working hours will therefore be in line with NYC (2pm - 11pm in Valencia). This is an English speaking role.
Systems Technician duties:
. Support the administration and maintenance of content management systems (Documentum) as well as server products and environments (Linux, Windows, SQL Server)
. Provide support for Xythos and DotNetNuke, as necessary
. Help with the implementation and rollout plans for the content management systems.
. Collaborate with multiple individuals/teams to help establish standards and policies for content management systems.
. Assist in the development of project plans detailing scope of work, objectives, identifying roles and responsibilities, work breakdown, deliverables and schedule.
. Support the Systems Analysts to meet project objectives. Contact and work with external vendors, partners or contractors may be required.
. Work with Systems Analysts to perform unit and integration testing as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
. Provide training to helpdesk and/or end users in the use of the content management systems.
. Support other systems and perform other related duties as required by the service
. The resource can be located either in New York or Valencia, Spain with hours of work based on 8am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time (NY, USA time).
System Skills Required:
. Strong experience in network support, in particular Cisco Routers and Switches.
. Demonstrated knowledge in the administration and maintenance of CMS content management systems (Documentum).
. Good technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, and SQL Server.
. Good technical knowledge of Xythos and DotNetNuke and integration testing; as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
. Local and Metropolitan Area Networking; TCP/IP Networking environment; and Network Management Systems (NMS systems).
. ITIL knowledge.
. Knowledge of voice and data over satellite is desirable.
. Excellent knowledge of English is required (both written and verbal).
. Spanish language skills is a bonus especially for the Valencia location.
