A Market Leading Pharmaceutical Organisation is currently seeking a Senior C&Q Engineer to work on the modification of an existing API facility; these modifications will accommodate a new drug which is being introduced to the plant. The role is based in South West Ireland. Please find below some further details of the position.Role related Activities
•The Senior Commissioning & Qualification Engineer is responsible for commissioning and operational qualification (OQ) of applicable projects / changes and production support of Performance Qualification (PQ) activities.
Specific Tasks, Responsibilities
•The Senior Commissioning & Qualification Engineer works closely with the Process Commissioning Manager to organise commissioning of new and existing facilities & equipment, establish the Commissioning Plan, follow it through and prepare handover of systems to the Operations Manager
•Generation of list of C&Q tests (Installation Verification (IV), Operational Verification (OV), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Testing (PT) and Performance Qualification (PQ)
•Execution of process commissioning & qualification tests in adherence with project schedule and under the direction of the Process Commissioning Manager
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to hit the ground running. This is a senior position so at least five years’ experience is required to be considered for the role. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative market-leading pharmaceutical organisation.
