Description
We help people form groups online to buy groceries in bulk from wholesalers and producers. This cuts out the middle man giving customers access to higher quality, less expensive food than they'd find in supermarkets. It also brings community to shopping, and generates less waste in terms of packaging, fuel and van trips.
Right now our biggest challenge is making it easy for group members to co-ordinate with each other.
You'd be involved in all aspects of the product, from the server-side API to rapidly prototyping mobile websites to test with customers.
Required
• Writing, maintaining and deploying Node.js applications
• Mongo and Mongoose
• HTML and CSS, including the latest best practices
Desirable
• Deploying applications to Heroku
• Templating with Handlebars
• User testing
• Keeping on top Lean/Agile
We're a small team that works in a loose but focused way. Our approach is strictly Lean and Agile (specifically Kanban), but if you’re not familiar with those approaches that’s OK; we’ll get you up to speed.
