A leading life sciences company based in the heart of Basel are seeking an Innovation Manager to be responsible for managing new product development for professional products to the European and Global market place.The individual must be a visionary, someone who can understand the needs of the market and work with R&D and scientific departments to bring these products to realisation.
You will need to support the strategy for product development in line with the business priorities of the company and lead professional product development projects from concept to launch. Within this role you will be the key individual within Global development projects.
The role will encourage you to lead multiple project teams across Europe, working on both existing and new products. You will be required to attend global conferences and systematically collect information on professional innovation in relevant areas including competitive activity.
In order to be considered for this role you should have similar experience with the above responsibilities. Therefore you should possess strategic vision, be an effective communicator and work effectively with other people.
Additionally, you should possess and University degree in life sciences and have a minimum of 5 years experience within the development of new pharmaceutical/ cosmetic/ medical device products. Knowledge of marketing, scientific affairs or business is a plus.
