Description
My client is looking for an electrical engineer for a long term contract in the Humber region.The role will be providing engineering design support to the project manager. Some local or international travel may be required.
The right person for this role must have:
- 5 years minimum design experience
- Oil & Gas/Petrochemical and ATEX experience
- Controls and Instrumentation design would be advantageous
- Minimum HNC Electrical Engineering
The key responsibilites for this role are:
- Identify client requirements
- Develop Electrical designs
- Prepare, check and Approve Electrical design documentation
- Specify equipment
- Plan and carry out engineering activities
- Liaise with other members of the design team
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and relevant authorities
- Attend meetings
- Site surveys
- Assist in preparation of cost estimates and tender packages
- Site commissioning assistance
- Work to client, national and international standards and regulations
- Adhere to company quality and standards
