IT Security Officer - 6 Month contractRate: 450 per day
Location: Leeds
Length: 6 Months
Ideal Start:
I am looking for a competent and experienced IT Security Officer for a 6 month contract to take forward the security team for this public sector client. They need someone to manage and provide advice and guidance on Information Security and Risk Management.
The role will include the following;
o Ensure appropriate IT Security measures are in place.
o Coordinate response to Security breaches
o Develop review and update the RMADS (Risk Management Accreditation Documentation Sets) in line with CESG IS1/2
o IT Security Lead force-wide and for regional and national projects
o Manage yearly penetration checks/IT health checks
o Manage and develop action places.
o Investigate, evaluate and impletion resolutions for internal and external vulnerabilities.
o Understanding of IT Disaster Recovery
o Knowledge and awareness of ISO security standards, Security Policy Framework and HMG CESG Infosec Standards.
o Experience of RMADS creation, and Policy development and implementation
o ITIL qualification (desirable).
The information security officer must be a detailed, logical thinker. When problems arise with data security, the security officer must find and apply a solution very quickly.
